Any printer, standard letter paper. The QR code and black corner markers are what the camera reads, and the tones are tuned for clean laser hit acquisition. Tape one to the wall and the target is done.

Your iPhone or iPad sits near the wall, slightly below the target and square to it, with the whole page in frame. A standing, extendable stand reaches that height in any room, so no table is needed; an iPad can simply be propped there instead.

Peregrine reads the QR code and corner markers to map the page's real size and angle. From then on it knows where every scoring ring sits, so hits are measured against the paper itself. Six Cut Circles is the exception: you cut it up, so there are no corner markers. It scans its QR code first, then finds the six circles and reads the numeral printed in each one when you start shooting, from three to seven feet with all six in frame.

Free Shoot and drills both start on a GO beep. Free Shoot runs to a ninety second par unless you change it, and Unlimited is one of the choices. Either way, each laser flash is caught, placed on the target, and stamped with a score, a draw time, and a split.

Every session lands in History with its hit map, score, and times. Tonight's groups sit next to last month's, so a drift that keeps pulling low left shows up as a pattern.

Sessions can also carry a shooter’s name, and History groups by it, so when more than one person runs the same drill on the same target, the phone keeps the score.
