Print the target in Peregrine
Open the Targets tab, choose a target, print it on standard letter paper, and tape it flat to the wall with the QR code and corner markers visible.
How it works
Peregrine uses your iPhone camera to find a printed target and score the laser flash from each dry-fire shot. The setup is simple and each completed session is saved for review.
Open the Targets tab, choose a target, print it on standard letter paper, and tape it flat to the wall with the QR code and corner markers visible.
Place your iPhone on a stable stand near the wall, slightly below the target and square to the paper so the whole target stays in frame.
In the Live tab, tap Scan Target and hold the QR code in view until Peregrine outlines the page. That locks the camera onto the target for scoring.
Choose Free Shoot or a drill, then train on the GO beep. Peregrine records each laser hit, score, and timing as you go.
Tap Stop when you are done. The completed session is saved automatically in History with its hit map, score, and time.
For dry-fire and laser training only. Keep live ammunition out of the room and follow the firearm maker’s dry-fire guidance.
